I have always felt my life has been blessed. I've been married to the same wonderful man for over thirty years (would you believe me if I said we were wed at the tender age of twelve?), raised two beautiful  intelligent daughters, Sara and Carey, and spent the last twenty-three years as a women's gymnastic judge.

I have a fantastic sister named Nancy, a lovely niece, Claire, and a handsome nephew, John, as well as an assortment of aunts, uncles and cousins who all plan to come to my book signings to keep me company.

I've lived in Illinois, New Jersey, and Texas. Right now I reside in the Washington DC area, but will soon be moving to the tip of the Delmarva Peninsula and a tiny town in Virginia called Cape Charles. Besides my husband, I have two dogs, Rudy and Buckley, who keep me company, and I still judge gymnastic meets at the age group and college level whenever I can. But ever since I discovered the magic of books, about the time I was five years old, reading has been my passion.

After writing full time for six years, I was fortunate enough to receive a contract for three novels from Kensington. Each of these books will have a fairy tale/paranormal theme, though the stories are very different from one another. If you enjoy reading about true to life heroines who are built like "real" women, then youll love the characters I create. Each of my ladies is curvy and statuesque, and not one of them has a waist that can be spanned by the heros hands. They are independent thinkers who take charge of their lives in some of the most funny and imaginative ways possible.

Though my heroes aren't dark and dangerous (I don't relate to alpha males) they are adorable men who somehow manage to get themselves in situations which can only be overcome by the ingenuity and love of the right woman. They'll be good looking, of course, but their most important personality traits will be their sense of humor, their joy for life and their ability to fall head over heels in love with the woman of their dreams no matter her unique personality or imperfections.

If you like books that make you smile, have interesting plot twists and fairy tale endings, I think youll find my books a perfect read.

I'd love to hear from my readers, so please feel free to email me at judi1022@earthlink.net about any topic you'd care to discuss, be it the craft of writing, my books, or gymnastics.
